Ghar Dailoo (“we”, “us”) operates a food delivery service in Hetauda, Nepal. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and place orders, and how we look after it.
1. Information we collect
When you create an account or place an order, we may collect:
- Your name, phone number, and email address.
- Your delivery address and any notes you provide.
- Order history, items ordered, and totals paid.
- Basic technical info such as device, browser, and approximate location.
Online payments are processed by our third-party payment providers; we do not store your card or bank details on our servers.
2. How we use your information
- To prepare, dispatch, and deliver your order.
- To contact you about your order or any delivery issue.
- To improve our menu, service, and website experience.
- To prevent fraud and keep our service safe.
3. Sharing your information
We share your name, address, and phone number only with the rider assigned to your delivery, and only for the duration of that order. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
4. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and remember items in your cart. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and order history while your account is active.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile in the app or on the website. When you do, you are signed out on every device, you can no longer sign in to that account, your saved sign-in details and notification tokens are removed, and your phone number is released so it can be used to register again.
Records of orders you placed (items, amounts, payments and delivery details) are kept after deletion because we need them for accounting, tax and payments to our partner kitchens. These records stay on our servers and are not used for marketing.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to update or delete your personal data, or to send you a copy of what we hold about you. Email us at info@ghardailoo.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page with the date it was last updated.
